Teenagers & Lunatics
There's something weird about my age. Infact, not something. Everything is weird. You're not a baby, yet you're not an adult. You're brain just tells you, 'hey man, i think we're entering the phase where i just can't pick a side.' And voila! You're a teen or teenager, (Boohoo, they're the same thing). Here on, you're just in a rollercoaster that is the mere essence of insanity and doom. There's the good things, like you're smarter (if you're me). You can make good decisions,(may vary). And best of all, there's the sense of sentience. You actually live, and your whole life is not actually a blur, unlike the baby, toddler, and child years. This is the part where you remember stuff, and do stuff. Fun stuff. You learn to drive, study complex stuff, and develop habits and preferences that are to stay with you for the rest of your lives. You achieve something called 'common sense'. Which is the same thing as 'getting smarter'. You apply logic to real world problems, and solve em. But, there's always the evil side. The world slowly unveils it's true colors. And you realise it's not like it used to be when you were younger. You begin to know more about people, events, and nations. You learn that there's a thing called War, and it's nothing like you imagined in kindergarten. Things unravel, horrific things. You have the internet at your disposal, and nothing stops you from submerging into the depths. So you dive. Some things you find are interesting , while some are disguisting. But, at the age, you admire the disgust. You submerge deeper. Some manage to get out of the trap. While some stay stranded. Affected.
The internet is a network that was meant for betterment, but it turned out to be a mindkiller. It still, however, can be used to do brilliant stuff. Like AI. Or perhaps a tiny business, (Youtube or Fiverr, if ur lucky). Ah, well. It is what it is.
As humans, we should stay humans. A teenager should love being a teenager. It's one of the best times of their lives. When they get partial or complete freedom. And it is one of the hardest. Perhaps good things shall take place. Perhaps, one day all the teenagers will repent. Perhaps they won't. Perhaps, they will make God angry, and he will bring about the Last Day. Perhaps, thy teenagers would be thy reason to Judgement Day. Perhaps not.
